Template: learn a service's spec from the running service, then gate changes
Hands-on, resumable Claude Code session: stand up a small multi-service lab, LEARN the service's spec by probing it while it runs, then use that spec to judge a corpus of changes with known ground truth. Along the way you fix the gate's own blind spots: a false clean when both sides fail, confirm-before-condemn for flaky boots, stale controls, a renamed setting no runtime check can see (and three ways to catch it), and a silent version downgrade. Ends by adapting the kit to your own service. Stdlib Python, no docker.
